Chavitti Uzhichil is the most ancient Ayurvedic massage and it originates from the state of Kerala – extreme south of India. The therapist is holding the rope which is fixed above the person and applies massage using feet over the back of the body. During this massage Marma points (vital points of the body which contain Prana energy) are stimulated, This massage is deeply relaxing, harmonizes, detoxifies, strengthens and revitalizes the entire body. This massage also improves lymph flow and stimulates the immune system. It simultaneously calms and strengthens the nervous system . Chavitti Uzichil is recommended for lower back pain, sciatica, spinal problems, nervous disorders and structural deformities.
